چکیده
SUMMARY Simplified solutions of the Bloch equation can lead to inaccurate estimates hydrogeological parameters from surface nuclear magnetic resonance measurements. Even for single pulse measurements, using simplified forward models is common practice because computational intensity obtaining full-Bloch solution. These challenges are exacerbated multipulse sequences. We show parallelizing solver on a Graphics Processing Unit reduces solve time by three orders magnitude. Further optimizations numerical, analytical and hybrid yield an additional 3× speed up. simulate physics free-induction decay, spin-echo pseudo-saturation recovery excitation schemes unprecedented range physical scenarios. explore time-dependence relaxation sensitivity in these solution spaces. Characterizing spaces with polynomials times, be rapidly reproduced; technique known as fast-mapping. By fitting higher dimensional ensembles polynomials, original fast-mapping extended include T1 at arbitrary times. Accuracy 7th order polynomial such that minimum 96 per cent within ±3 relative error. This permits rapid reproduction matrix multiplication opens up NMR time-series based inversion data.

Multipulse quantum control: exact solutions.
The coherent propagation of four optical pulses through a multilevel resonant medium is investigated theoretically. We present a self-consistent analytic solution without steady-state or adiabatic approximations and use numerical simulations to indicate that the analytic formulas can be used as a guide in an experimental setting.
متن کاملAccurate and efficient numerical solutions for elliptic obstacle problems
Elliptic obstacle problems are formulated to find either superharmonic solutions or minimal surfaces that lie on or over the obstacles, by incorporating inequality constraints. In order to solve such problems effectively using finite difference (FD) methods, the article investigates simple iterative algorithms based on the successive over-relaxation (SOR) method. It introduces subgrid FD method...
متن کاملFLENS - a flexible library for efficient numerical solutions
In this paper we describe the main design and realization principles of our software library FLENS (A Flexible Library for Efficient Numerical Solutions). FLENS is a C++ library allowing easy and straightforward coding while providing a maximum extend of efficiency. FLENS is in particular suited as a platform for the realization of fast solvers for differential equations. AMS subject classifica...
متن کاملEfficient computation and encoding of the multipulse excitation for LPC
This paper discusses the analysis techniques used to derive the excitation waveform for multipulse coding of speech. A computationally efficient formulation is derived for both covariance and correlation type analyses. These methods differ in the way block edges are treated. Several methods for pulse amplitude and posihiou determination are given, ranging from a purely sequential one to one whi...

A simple technique for solving the Torrey–Bloch equations apin unconfined geometry. We obtain an expression for the pearing in the calculation of the NMR signal under gradient fields signal which contains explicit information about the initial is presented. It is applicable to arbitrary time dependence of the distribution of spins and show that it reduces to well-known gradient field to arbitra...
